- Profile information
- Optional profile or identity photographs
- Device association or device-identification information
- Application-specific personal information
- Other personal information that is no longer required to provide the Guardio service or meet lawful business requirements.
Some Data May Need to Be Retained

Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, information that is no longer required may be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of.
For Organization-Managed Users
Guardio is primarily used by organizations and employers. In many cases, a user’s Guardio profile is created and managed by an employer or authorized administrator rather than directly by the individual.
Because of this, some deletion requests may require:
- Identity verification
- Confirmation of the relevant organization
- Coordination with your employer or customer organization
- Confirmation that deletion does not conflict with employment, operational, security, audit, contractual, or statutory obligations.
This helps ensure that required organizational and compliance records are not unintentionally removed.
What Happens After You Submit Your Request?
After receiving your request:
01 — Request Received
We receive and review your deletion request.
02 — Identity Verification
We may contact you to verify your identity and confirm your Guardio profile, organization, application, or relevant records.
03 — Request Assessment
We assess which information can be deleted based on applicable requirements.
04 — Action Taken
Once the request is verified, we take appropriate action within a reasonable period, subject to applicable legal, contractual, employment, security, operational, audit, and retention requirements.
Important
Submitting a deletion request does not automatically mean that all records will be deleted. Certain information may need to be retained by Guardio, your employer, customer organization, or another authorized party where retention is required or permitted.
